Submissions
Submission Preparation Checklist
As part of the submission process, authors are required to check off their submission's compliance with all of the following items, and submissions may be returned to authors that do not adhere to these guidelines.
- The submission has not been previously published nor has it been submitted for consideration to any other journal (or an explanation has been provided regarding this in the Editor's Comments).
- The submission file is in OpenOffice, Microsoft Word, RTF, or WordPerfect format.
- Whenever possible, URL addresses are provided for the references.
- The text is single-spaced; has a font size of 12 points; italics are used instead of underlining (except for URLs); and all illustrations, figures, and tables are placed in the appropriate positions within the text, rather than at the end.
- The text adheres to the stylistic and bibliographic requirements outlined in the authors guidelines.
- By submitting the aforementioned work, I grant Materia Arquitectura an exclusive, perpetual license to publish and disseminate it in any language and through any existing or future medium.
- The manuscript submitted to Materia Arquitectura is original and unpublished and has not been published elsewhere.
- The undersigned authors have significantly contributed to the conception, execution, and development of the research, as well as to the collection of data and interpretation of results. No author has been omitted, nor have individuals been listed as authors who did not participate.
- The undersigned authors have contributed to the writing and review of the manuscript. All undersigned authors have approved the final version and agree with its publication.
- Other individuals who participated in the study but do not meet the authorship criteria are listed as "Contributors" or acknowledged for their specific advisory contributions to the research.
- The manuscript submitted to Materia Arquitectura does not engage in unethical practices such as salami slicing, plagiarism, or fraud, nor does it infringe copyright laws.
- If applicable, the authors have disclosed any conflicts of interest related to the research or the manuscript's writing.
