Abstract
En el contexto de la 55a Bienal de Arte de Venecia, Jasmina Cibic transformó el interior del pabellón de Eslovenia en una serie de ambientes con muros empapelados en los que expuso naturalezas muertas de la colección de arte del Parlamento de dicho país y dos videos. Usó la arquitectura como programa de su trabajo, seleccionando con celo arquitecturas ideológicamente cargadas para convertirlas en escenarios para sus videos, sacando el contenido de videos de investigación arquitectónica y usando la arquitectura del pabellón como un dispositivo de orientación que guía al espectador y le permite construir nuevas perspectivas en arte y arquitectura. El artículo intenta situar el trabajo de Cibic, cuestionando el significado de la escenificación en el contexto de las borrosas fronteras ideológicas de hoy y muestra cómo el uso de la arquitectura como programa de una instalación espacial puede dilucidar el contexto del arte.
