Abstract
Kenneth Frampton, destacado académico de la historia, teoría y crítica de la arquitectura, estudió en la Architectural Association de Londres en la década del cincuenta y fue editor técnico de la revista Architectural Design. Desde 1972 enseña en la Facultad de Arquitectura de la Universidad de Columbia, donde actualmente es Ware Professor of Architecture.
En esta entrevista, el autor de Historia crítica de la arquitectura moderna (1980), habla de su proyecto como crítico y teórico, su evolución y su influencia. Asimismo, repasa algunos antecedentes del movimiento moderno y destaca la función crítica e interpretativa que le corresponde asumir a la historia de la arquitectura.
