Abstract
El artículo intenta posicionar la práctica del diseño contemporáneo en el contexto de ciudades convertidas en campos de batalla dentro de un proceso de globalización impulsado principalmente por intereses de mercado. El autor define la situación post- política del desarrollo urbano y critica el enfoque post-planificación. Advierte que en el campo del diseño, que hasta ahora ha visto sólo un temeroso acercamiento a los temas urbanos, podríamos encontrar un potencial inexplorado para el (re)diseño intencional del espacio.
