Abstract
ARCHIGRAM comenzo como un boletin de estudiantes, publicado por primera vez en 1961 por un grupo de jovenes arquitectos londinenses: Peter Cook, David Greene y Michael Webb, a los que se unieron, un an mas tarde, Warren Chalk, Dennis Crompton y Ron Herron.
La publicacion, asi llamada por la combinacion de las palabras arquitectura y telegrama, planteo un men- saje radical contra la conservadora escena arquitectonica britanica de la epoca y un llamado urgente para nuevas ideas.
Uno de los puntos mas interesantes acerca de ARCHIGRAM es que la publicacion colaborativa para divul- gar un discurso critico se transformo, mas tarde, en una practica arquitectonica que aplico, en el disen de edificios y planes urbanos, las ideas y el imaginario anteriormente publicado por el grupo.
