Abstract
En décadas pasadas, nuevas tecnologías provenientes de las industrias de alta tecnología se han introducido en el diseño arquitectónico y en el proceso de construcción. En este artículo mostramos cómo se llenó el espacio entre diseño y producción en el mundo desarrollado y analizamos cómo el método file-to-factory podría ser implementado en el contexto latinoamericano.
Abstract
In the past decades, new technologies coming from the high-tech industry have been introduced in architectural design and the building process. In this article we show how the gap between design and production was filled in the developed world and discuss how the fileto-factory method could be implemented in the Latin American context.
