Abstract
Matterscapes is a term that proposes a comprehensive vision of matter. From industrial landscapes to ecological disruptions, the transformation and transportation of matter not only shape our living environment, but in turn trigger geochemical imbalances with consequences on the living world. Thanks to the pedagogical tools developed in a course on materials, this essay proposes to navigate between scientific and artistic modes of existence in order to promote the construction of material ethic for the 21st century.
