Los mapas como abstracción y espacio imaginativo: representando el urbanismo informal

Abstract
La movilidad cotidiana y la conectividad urbana se hacen explícitas en diagramas de patrones de circulación, trazado narrativo de trayectorias o anotación coreográfica de rutinas cinéticas. Sin embargo, también están fuertemente implícitas en las plantas de arquitectura que, extendidas a escala urbana en el Plan Rossi de Zúrich, evocan un espacio imaginativo para supuestos paseos por la ciudad. Un proyecto de investigación que está siendo desarrollado por el autor lleva esas capacidades imaginativas a la exploración diagramática de las comunidades de Divale Gaon (India), Ban Krua (Tailandia) y Jabal Al Natheef (Jordania), las que habitan matrices de casas densamente ordenadas que sostienen patrones de conectividad tanto dinámicos como plásticos, desafiando la sintaxis europea de calles públicas y plazas cívicas.
